REVIEWS
Jim Lowe, writing in the Time Argus had this to say about a recent performance by Heliand Consort in May 2012:
"The Heliand Consort […] performance was substantial and musically rewarding. [They] played with great skill and musical understanding. These fine players […] achieved a Romantic grandeur normally reserved for strings and piano."

What’s in a name? ‘Heliand’ is Old Saxon for healing power; helianthus is a sunflower. We recognize the power of music to bring joy to many lives. We are a flexible consortium, open to collaborations, new ideas, and are keen to welcome new audiences to classical music.
